Transitions emii™ is a direct replacement product designed to help the user maximize their investment by getting the full life out of the EMII/H200 PLC.
Hitachi EMII Series was discontinued in March 2008. Transitions emii™ products are not produced by Hitachi. As the warranty period of your original Hitachi PLC has expired (product line ended as of March 2008), the use of these products does in no way invalidate your (original Hitachi) warranty. Transitions emii™ has a 1 year warranty, just like the original product.
The products presented here are created to work with your Hitachi EMII Series - or Hitachi H200 Series.
The specifications meet or exceed your original Hitachi products, and carry the same 1 year warranty.
Rather than use a plastic faceplate with plastic tabs (that break off after time/heat), the faces on these units are milled down from a solid block of Aluminum (we don't call them face'plates' because they are so much better).
The Faces fit comfortably alongside your Hitachi - or Reliance Shark XLII - or Furnas 96M modules (Reliance Electric (now A-B) and Furnas Electric (now Siemens) brand labeled the Hitachi EM/EMII/H200. They are held in place - not by a plastic clip, but by a stainless steel spring clip.
Notice in the Hitachi rack to the right, the Transitions emii™ (in Powder Coasted Blue) fit perfectly next to the original Hitachi and branded Hitachi modules. Whether your processor is the original Hitachi CPM-E (Reliance 45C900), CPM-E2, or CPM-E3 (Reliance 45C901), the Transitions emii™ modules are direct replacements. This means no program changes required!
